Peugeot 207 GTI - HFS4 Finished Tomorrow
hi Richard
my system Is being finished off tomorrow morning and just wanna clarify a few points. I will be running around 300bhp on a 1.6litre engine with max 23psi boost. am I correct in saying: 1) the pre amp should be soldered at 2.5 2) MPS at 3 with the high boost running. 3) cut the existing connections to the two above. 4) for the flow sensor, we should solder 0+1 as its a single jet set up. 5) for setting failsafe point 1 says adjust SC to display 5-6 bars at full flow, how do u do that? seen the kit on the car last week and looks brilliant, cant wait to drive it again!! cheers andy |

Re: Peugeot 207 GTI - HFS4 Finished Tomorrow
5) you need to put the jet outside of the engine and manually active the system using the "SYS" jumper link. Then set the SC to display 5-6 bar.
You can set the WL and WH initially to 10am and 2 pm. It is all in the instruction.

Re: Peugeot 207 GTI - HFS4 Finished Tomorrow
kit all in and working well, just need to use the smaller jet as the 0.8m is injecting too much so going for the 0.6m option tomorrow.

Re: Peugeot 207 GTI - HFS4 Finished Tomorrow
0.6mm jet definitely working better, big jet was just pushing too much water in.
Checked the system yesterday, the pre amp gain has been left at 1? Should I change this to 2.5? The SC is set at 5 o'clock The Wl is set at 12 o'clock The WH is set at 1 o'clock Will change the WI and WH as advised above. This just needs them moved an no other amendments ? The settings I have noted, is this why the water level and water injection lights both come on for a few seconds then the flow shows? Can't remember if the B lights up or not. Appreciate ur help Richard , still very new to all this! |

Re: Peugeot 207 GTI - HFS4 Finished Tomorrow
if you are using water only, 0.8mm jet is too much.
You failsafe window is far too narrow. try WL at 10am and WH at 2 pm. SS at 5pm indicates you need to solder link the flow sensor table to 0+1. (for a single jet) See page 22. Once linked, your SC should be around 12 o'clock.

Re: Peugeot 207 GTI - HFS4 Finished Tomorrow
Set the SC at 12, WL at 10 and WH at 2, then test ising SYS and it trips failsafe both yellow lights are on and here it click.
When sc at 3, wl at 1and wh at 4, shows 5 bars flow, B lights up and no yellow lights. Will test when driving home |

Re: Peugeot 207 GTI - HFS4 Finished Tomorrow
well tried on way home and still trips the failsafe and no flow reading.
so went back to the previous settings as per picture below: this is what it does when driving: and when doing the manual test: what am I doing wrong?? nothing on the back of the board has been soldered since received the product. its 0.6mm jet that's being used, 50/50mix of meth/water, running from fuel injector signal. |
