what is the best period time for ERL HSV?

Hi,
Does anyone know the BEST period time for the ERL Hish Speed Valve, ie at 99%-100% dutie cycle how long should the valve have power? Richard? im guessing in the ms range but could be anything.

I need to know this as Im making up my own controller. and need to know what time period Im using for dutie cycles.
