The HSV can withstand a differential pressure of 10 bar. We normally set the water pressure to 6-7 bar from the factory. If the jet is placed in the vacuum side of the engine, you need to allow an extra bar (7-8bar). I wil not advise anyone to set the water pressure beyond 8.5 bar.
As I said before, if there are dribbles at the jet tip, it is normally caused by the residual water in the line. You can install an inline checkvalve to eliminate it (as close to the jet as possible). If there is an actual leak of the valve, you should hear the pump re-activate itself every some often. If you are concerned too much, back flush the HSV (activated) with compress air or clean water.
