Hi, I have just brought a patrol with a tb42 carb dual fuel. the motor is still quite fresh but the economy is around 20l/100km - costly.
what i am thinking is to increace the economy i can bolt on a turbo from the td42 and run it straight through the carb with a view to having a lean mix. my question is this; if i fit a WI system that kicks in at say 0.3bar will i eliminate any pre detonation? (I would prefer to run just one fuel (i.e. remove the gas or petrol) but that fuel could be petrol, ethanol or lpg - i just want to save some fuel) thanks in advance tom |
