For the boot triggering switch (the one labeled 806-157) yes you can tee into the same intake manifold reference as your OEM bypass valve. If you get inconsistent triggering put a restrictor in the line to the switch.

You should reverse flush the filter about every oil change, cleaning the jet at the same time wouldn't hurt either. Would this level of frequency be a burden?
