I have just checked the outputs for the ecu and apparently I have 4 PWM outputs so it's looking good for the future. You will have to hear with me as WI is fairly
New to me. How much would that list of parts/kit look to cost me? |

Hi Richard,
Looking at getting this kit for my big turbo TTRS. Looking at running around 650hp. Everyones been fitting the AEM kit to their audi over here in the UK which I assume is due to less complicated installation, or should I say dead easy. However I want the best product for my toy, so was wondering if you would be able to assist in installation of this kit, primarill the wiring with the ecu. Thanks Jason |

AEM and Snow make low budget PPS (progressive pump speed) systems, flow is based on boost pressure (single dimension).
Aquamist uses a high speed inline valve (as in OE cars), flow is based on flow flow. (3-dimension). If you want to know the difference between the system read this link. We manufacture 90% of our components in house and the others buys them from off-the-shelve plumbing or pneumatic supplies. Quality cannot be compared with aquamist. Aquamist is the only company that supplied all the works WRC teams (except citroen) for 12 year until WI was banned on 2006. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to do an WI install, instruction is very complete (in general). Every kit install involves mounting a tank, a pump, nozzle in the inlet pipe and some electrical wiring. Aquamist is no more complicated than any other systems.

Im sure once Ive done it, everyone else will jump on the badnwagon, but no one likes to be the guinea pig. Will I need audi wiring loom diagrams to undertake this install? |

If you don't mind making a trip down to Brighton, I like to see the car and how the ecu works.
Do you know anyone may have the ECU pin out diagram or this car? It is a good starting point. One the signal wires are identified, the installation will be quite quick. The N54 is very simple now that we have the wiring diagram worked out.

Might have someone near portsmouth that could bring their car to you though, as they are after WMI on their TTRS. Should be able to get the pin out diagram no problem. Will be in touch again soon ![]() |

If you can email me the ECU pin out before seeing the car, it will save a lot of poking around. (richardATaquamist.co.uk).
Portsmouth is not too far away if it is possible to see the car. I did some research, it is a 2.5 litre, five cylinder, turboed, FSI engine?
