Default Pre turbo injection during off boost theory.

Im made to understand that spray pre-turbo can be beneficial as it increases the turbocharger's compressor efficiency.

Now, in most cases, water is only injected when on-boost.

I was thinking, what if water sprayed from the water injection's jet escapes to a nearby recirculating blow off valve, which blows the excess air back to the turbo's inlet during off boost..Will be there any effect or benefits?

Cheers.

Danny.

Water is injected over a specific boost threshold, right? Mine is set at 14psi for example.

The dump valve only vents when the throttle is closed SHUT, so there is no boost then. Whatever mist was on the way to the cylinders has long gone when the DV vents (or recirculates)

Traces of water mist off-boost wouldn't hurt anyway, to damage the engine you'd need large quantities under vacuum so you can get waterlock for example.
