Re: Error MF2
o-rings are sizes are measured on ID. Those valves are about 20 years old, I cannot be sure what sizes it should be.

Re: Error MF2
I was afraid off that. I suppose these valves are not available anymore?
Are there other valves available? Or what options do I have? |

Re: Error MF2
Well, I was able to find me some seals that seem to fit. I could pressurize the system without any leaks. That is good.
Downside: first I could not get the system armed again. So I must be doing something wrong. After some search I found out that the system was not getting grounded since I did ground the system via the manifold. And the manifold was not attached to the chassis during testing. Hope to install everthing again soon and check if it works. Some other thing. I am surprised that feedback from ERL is not so good as I used to have. Good thing to know is that my ERL kit is in the car for about 20 years now and almost never problems and always functional. Very very good. But now I mailed to the adresses located on the site, but I do not get any answers. Sometimes Richard is answering on the forum. But main question: is ERL healthy? Or is it going down? What is going on? |

Re: Error MF2
Well, early this year another seal from my old MF2 system valve started leaking. Tried to find me an replacement seal, but first no luck.
But, not far from my place, here in Holland, about 20 kms, there is an company which makes all kind off seals. I ordered multiple sizes o-rings and one fitted perfectly. So, now my old MF2 is going strong again. I know that almost nobody is reading this forum, but eventhough I think it is wise to share this info in case somebody would like to keep his WI system alive. The company is: Technirub. The site is Dutch, but google translate is your friend :-) https://www.technirub.nl/ |
