HFS3-v3 in bmw e9x 320d

Hello Richard,
I am wondering whenever I can use your HFS3 kit on 320 diesel engine. In addition, somewhere in threads you said that on diesel w/m adds power even without tuning. Does it mean car would be driveable for the time between installation and tuning (f.ex. can be delivered to tuner under own steam with system installed.

Okay, so maybe not. Since HFS 3 is stated as for gasoline engines, and hfs 4 for DI engines, is it enough to buy HFS 4 control box to implement system into the diesel?Is there anyone who actually put their system into the BMW diesel?

Not sure if the HFS3 can read diesel injectors signals. We have not looked into this market much. If someone bought a system for their diesel engine, I am very happy to support them. There are only a hand full of diesel engines I have worked on, the BMW 335d (US model) is one of them. The injectors are piezo electric variety.

Thanks for your input. I indeed have this system, originally for my petrol subaru. Than again, I tried to cross-reference HFS 3 and HFS 4 systems, and it appears that only variable between two is the control unit. If I'll buy myself hfs 4 control box, would it make my install straight-forward?
