Default Leaking connections.

Long story short: I repurchased my Volvo 242 back after being gone for 7+ years, trying to sort out some neglected issues.

HFS-3 installed around 2009 no issues for many years up until selling vehicle in 2017..repurchased back 2025 and now sorting out a neglected HFS-3 system.

Symptom: Can not stop leaks at flow sensor at the 4mm hose going to inlet jet.
Tried trimming hose very carefully and making sure it is seated 100%.

Question: is there a internal o'ring that seals the nylon tube when inserted inside flow sensor? I can not see one on any of the sensors.
Note: The metal teeth that grabs the tubing is working perfectly.
This leaking is observed when jumping pump motor inside controller.

Can this be simply tired nylon tubing.?
Thank You.

Default Re: Leaking connections.

Replacing the nylon tubing did not help.

Has anyone experienced this before.?
Would Love for someone from aquamist engineering to give some insight.

Afraid to keep the system active under these symptoms.

Note: I removed the metal fitting that screws into the flow sensor just to get a better look inside, all I can see is that the nylon tubing bottoms out to a metal edge, no o'ring, just the edge of the tubing sitting flush against the seat inside metal fitting on flow sensor.
I'm not surprised it leaks with this observation.
