Direct port injection installed on VW Golf mk6 twin charger
Running great so far on REVO 100RON map on 98RON fuel. Custom mapping to follow soon.
Running 6 jets with medium restrictor pill for maximum 680cc/min on 50/50 mix: 4 x 0.4B for each cylinder. 1 x 0.4B for post IC. 1 x 0.4A for Pre-turbo. Free air test 120cc/min for the 0.4B jets and 80cc/min for the 0.4A. Exactly 680cc/min. Car's boost pressure is about 23psi max at midrange and taper to 17psi at peak rpm thanks to pre turbo (14.5 without pre turbo injection). There is no knock retard, choke or misfire - just powder smooth engine response. While it doesn't have much engine power, maybe 230HP-250hp, but the powerband is very broad through the 7 short gears. I can't say the same if its just on post IC location as it is not enough to suppress detonation on 100RON map, and for sure it is not smooth at all if its running at the same amount of W/M. |

Re: Direct port injection installed on VW Golf mk6 twin charger
Ok I just did some logs using 4th gear.
Fuel type 98RON. Revo Stage 2 / 100RON map. Sprint Filter panel air filter replacement. Miltek catless turboback exhaust. Audi R8 coilpack. TVS DSG map. RTMG oil catch can. Looks good so far, and I am quite surprised the IAT on the intake manifold is actually cooler than my previous single jet post FMIC and maintains it throughout the log pull. I thought having the jets post IAT sensor (on the intake manifold plenum) will make it reads warmer than post fmic jet but it isn't. |

Re: Direct port injection installed on VW Golf mk6 twin charger
I suggest running higher % of methanol.
