This topic was started over on NASIOC (Methanol without lube in it.... (http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1148001)) and I wanted to bring it over here as there seem to be many here using 100% methanol.

Have any of you experienced sediment build-up over time in the methanol with fuel system lubricant in it? I was originally going to order a 55 gallon drum of methanol with this lubricant in it to split with a few other locals who are running water/meth injection, but if it's going to develop sediment and particulates in it over time I may just go without the lubricant and add it separately after it's mixed in the fuel/water cell.

Anyone have any additional input on this?

I cant see how you will be able to keep oil suspended in methanol. I would presume it will seperate. It will be differant to water which will mix 100 % with water in any amount

That seems to be the conclusion that many are coming to. If the methanol w/lubricant is left dormant for any extended amount of time the lubricant starts to fall out of suspension.

Looks like pure methanol may be the way to go.

You could use some kind of RC car or plane fuel
