DDS3 V8 Install questions

Hi Guys,

I'm in the process of installing my DDS3 gauge.

Got everything wired in today but the bar graph does not move when the system is flowing.

I read through the instructions again and found that Pin 17 needs some sort of input for the bar graph to operate.


As i'm only using the gauge to monitor the flow right now is there any way of just having the bargraph and flow sensor operating all the time.
I movedthe jumper to PWM and tried connecting pin 17 to the negative side of my Devils own pump, this lights the red LED but again no bargraph display.

I'm not interested in using any failsafes i just want the gauge to read the water flow, any ideas please?

So had a better chance to play with it today.


I'm running the HSV connected to a Emanage Ultimate to control the water.


I used a spare placed in a bucket and ran the HSV at 80%dc.

The bar graph moves but it only moves at start up, after 1 sec or so the bar graph goes back to zero.



Have i not connected something correctly?

Have i not connected something correctly?

Check all your connections to make sure you are not leaking water under pressure. I had a similar situation, which turned out to be a loose connection at the flow sensor.
