I'm planing to install Aquamist HFS 6 and run higher boost/timing on my truck. System is safe to go to 6 psi without water/meth and I would like to run in the 9-10 psi range. Problem is what can I do to drop boost to 6 psi in case of system falure or me running out of juce. I already figured out how to switch to the different map on my ECU(failsafe signal will activate my device which will send some code to ECU forcing it to switch to the 6 psi/no injection tune) but I need to drop pressure to around 6 psi. On Turbo kit I could do it with boost controller but how to do it on the supercharger. Is there any wastegates which will pass 6 psi and have a solenoid activation as well.
Any ideas

You would need to find a large solenoid or butterfly valve to use as a bypass/recirculation valve. For fine tuning the max boost use an orifice/restricto to tune max boost pressures. You may have to use an isolation relay if the solenoid/actuator draws a good deal of power.

If you have a bypass valve in the system already you could force the unit partially open but then you may be looking at a mechanical system that could get more involved.

Either of these ways can work as well as some others, if either of these interest you or this sparks another idea let us know and we can try to provide more info.
