Any ideas or info concerning what to use along with boost to control the amount of injection via a pump controller?

I think a output from a IAT sensor would closely parallel the boost output. So, the intake temp would rise at around the same rate as the boost pressure.

Using RPM as the second source pretty much do the same thing?

Also thinking about voltage output from a MAF....

Or, is a second control source even necessary?

In other words, what other input to a progressive pump controller besides boost do you think would work the best?

a pump speed controller that reads fuel IDC will be simplier.

Richard - More info please. Do you have some links I could check out?

Thanks.

Would be nice to base it off IDC!.

RPM is the other input you need realy for a PWM pump controller, if you think about it for the same boost you only need to inject 1/2 as much liquid at 3000 rpm as you do at 6000 rpm..

This is my main problem with my setup, RPM scaling.

Pump speed system has a limited dynamic range and poor transient response. it is importnt to consider this before moving forward.

Dynamic range: A progressive delivery system should have at least a dynamic range of 10x to give good coverage on load and RPM. A PPS (Progressive pump speed) system will at best give you only 2x. A pressure change between 60psi to 240psi will only give you a dynamic range of 2x. A PWM valve system, will give you a dynamic range of 10x.

Transient response: This is very important, without the ability to alter flow quick during gear change and throttle modulation, A progressive system is a tuning nightmware. PPS system cannot alter pump's rotational speed quickly to match the load and RPM change due to inertia. PWM valve, as used on modern fuel injection system, can response within a few milli-seconds.

What would you recommend for a 6 port injector setup running pure methanol (looking at 1.5l/min?). I`ve got 2 injector outputs that can be mapped.

I would use the new HFS-6 system. You can use one of the mappable injector drive output to feed the HFS-6.

The HFS-6 can flow around ~1600cc/min at 160psi (adjustable to 180psi -red arrow, HFS-6 uses and Aquatec pump) - 4x 1mm nozzle.

Have you got a solenoid that will flow 1.6l/min as a seperate item?.
