Hello Milou,

You can use this diagram also for 997tt.

I did not wire the failsafe boost cut cables because VTG solenoids work differently than 996tt boost control system.

Cheers,
Emre

Just to let you know that this diagram did not work for me. It shows that the green wire to the brown/black F.IDC which flooded my engine with gas. Then a friend suggested to tap the green wire to Brown/Green and now it all seems Ok.

Richard,

So far I was running 100% methanol, I Decited to shift to 70/30 methanol/water to keep it safer. I was told that this is the highest % of methanol that can be used and not be flammable and catastrophic in case of leak.
I have Decited to run 70/30 but I think the sprayers supplied does not support the needs of my engine.
I have it set at 09:30 and 5,00 which is the maximum %.

Anyone who has seething to share on 997 turbo application?

Thx Antonis

You can add a third jet, the system can cope with it pretty well.

Contact our sales office at: [sales@aquamist.co.uk] You will probable need another Tee-piece and a jet adaptor.

Can someone please give the the wire colors for ecu on the 997TT, Im looking what color the blue wire goes to, what color the green wire goes to and what wire the red goes to. I have tapped into every pin shown besides fail safe and my kit still doesnt work. Ive been threw hundreds of hours and will do not have a working kit :(. I even sent my box in and they said nothing was wrong.

The same diagram has been used on many 997/966s. I am nor sure why you have having so many problems. Pm me your phone so that we have do some real time diagnostic work.

The wire colours are marked on the diagram on post 1.

Hi,

I have Porsche Carrera S with custom turbo kit installed.
We have some problems with detonation and EGT temperature on high boost.
Methanol is needed. Looks like Aquamist is the best.
Is the scheme described here fits to 997 2007 Motronic?

Thanks

If you are using the same DME as the 997, the HFS3 or 4 will work well on to your car. Here is a link of a good install on an 996:

Dear Richard L,

Basing on calculation made I see that I need 2 pcs. of 0,9 jets to cover our methanol needs .
We have one intake only. What is the best way to install them - continuously or parallel?

Thanks.

Inline along the intake pipe 3-6 inches apart. As far away from the throttle as possible.
