i have many questions please :

1- is the 996tt dme wiring the same of the 997tt to ?

2- if i did not wire the failsafe cut boost wire , will this couse a problem ?

Sorry for the late reply

Answers to your questions:

1. As far as I know they are the same.
2. You can leave the fail safe out, no problems
3. You just use the default settings from the factory.

another qusetion please ,,
as i read in the book that the fast acting valve should be used in the engine area ,, in fact am afraid that heat in this area will effect sensor reading ?? so is there away to protect it from heat ??

How high is regarded as high temperature? There are cooler places in the engine bay, you will be a better persion to find it.

i installed everythings .. so i moved to next step , which is testing ..

i tested the system as the book , everythings were fine , gauge was fine , controller was fine , but when i want to active the pump it did not turn on .... why is that ??

How did you activate the pump? Make sure the 15A fuse in in place.

Like this:
- pump activation only: jumper SYS "in" with FAV "out".
- pump and FAV activation together: jumper SYS "in" with FAV "in".

can you take a close up picture of the under side of the circuit board for me please. Use macro mode if possible.

It appeared the wiring is perfect.

sorry , i did not get it right .. do you mean to take a pic of the controller ??

I like to see the underside of the circuit board of the controller. Especially near the blue harness.

i tried to do the test again ,,, i started the ignition and the yellow led in the gauge light up , after few secs the whole gauge light too .. i started the engine , the green light in the controller flicker and once i press the pedal it speeds up !!! so am sure that wires are connected as it should be !!!

now test the injection(( ENGINE OFF )) JUST IGNITION :

i tried both , link the fav , unlink the fav ..

FDC : just the S led flicker
BAR : the bar turn red (3 bars only ) and the ((B)) LED light too
SYS: the W.injection yellow led light up and the thres red light in the controller light up also but the pump keep not working

as well as i noticed that when i turn the car complatly off the gauge did not turn off !!! it keeps lighting

First and most important:

The system's power can solely controller by the red wire of the grey connector. Make sure this red wire only receive 12V power at the pre-crank key position.

The pictires are excellent. All seemed to be normal.

One more test for me please. Please measure the blue and red wire with a voltmeter from undeneath the relay. With ther FAV unlinked and SYS linked, you should see 12V across those two wires. If you see 12V and the relay is not clicking when pluging and unpluging it. It must be a faulty relay.

well for your info .. when i linked the SYS yesterday , i heared the clicking from the relay !!! but the pump was not working ..
anyway i will connect the red wire from the controller ((power))
with other 12v source ..and update you

thanks

Bridge the two thick red wires below the relay socket.

We are getting close, I hope.

sorry i may misunderstand you ..

which red wire that i should fix ??

the 4way Power-in connector red wire (power) or the grey RJ48 connector red wire ??

i used them both and tap them in pin 8 in the ecu

I was referring to the two think red wire underneath the relay.

On efrom battery and the other to the pump. If you bridge the two, the pump should see 12V and hope it will run.

It seems to be the same problem of me

ysfg35

i found another source for 12v to power the system .. so the gauge lighting issue resolved .. now once i turn the car off , gauge turn off too !!!! but pump still not working ..

the aquamist came with ground kit , for pump ground wire !!! is it necessary to use i??? because i did not use it .. i just wired the black wire to chassie .. so is it possible that this is the reason why pump not working ??

This is good, do you have a pinout for it? May be you got it from the fuse box?

I wonder if it is the relay?

If you use "SYS" to turn on the pump relay (with "FAV" unpluged). Let me know if you can measure a 12V across the pump. If the ground is bad, you will not see a 12V across the pump connector.

dear richard , my friend just came to check the pump wiring , and oooops the 12v supply was connected to bettery ground terminal by mistake from me loool :p

pump now is working perfectly.

today i will do the tuning and give you an update.

Thanks for the update, good new indeed.

Everything fine , tested the sray by useing the SYS in the controller , than i tested the system by active the F-IDC and everythings perfect ..

richard when i tested the system by SYS it showed me 3bars in the gauge , after that i went to road real test and it showed me in the gauge 4bars only ... so is that mean that system is spraying full flow that i need ?? more info will be usefull .. thanks

Now is a good time to set the gauge to display 5-6 bars at WOT and high RPM. (using the "SC" trimmer on the gauge).
