Richard.

HFS3 was spraying, customer did not use system for 4 months. Customer is back in for tune with system and it is not spraying. Disconnecting the large feed shows gushing fluid, small hose after fav does nothing. Any ideas?

Thanks
Ryan

Hello Ryan,

Help me with a couple of questions:

1. The serial number of the controller
2. Can you ask your customer to run a "SYS" (system test) with the jet out of the engine. Make sure the "FAV" is linked

Hey Richard it's my unit... We ran a test and would could hear the relay clicking and the pump pumping however nothing came through the line post solenoid.... It can unplug the feed to the solenoid , run the test and liquid comes out.... Once it's in the solidniod.... It doesn't disengage to let and thing come through

I can not understand your last post. Are you saying when you unplug the red harness, the valve opened?

Let me see if i can rephrase this sorry. If you put the unit into the testing pattern. The pump pumps and the relay clicks.. however nothing comes out of the jet. if you disconect the line resoliodent to see if the pump is pumping you do in fact get liquid however when you reconnect it to the solieniod and try it nothing comes through the solideniod. it stay closed even with the controller box telling it to open. I have had it installed for about 4 months but never was able to do the tune till now. It was working perfectly back then. Tried to turn it on to start tunning with it and nothing.

OK, It is very clear now.

It appeared the valve has some sort of blockage or the internal seal has swollen. Since this is a recent event as it was working perfectly for 4 months or so.

Possible solutions:
1. Reverse the I/O ports of the FAV and do a "SYS" test. IT might help clearing some debris.
2. What kind of alcohol do you use and at what %?

3. Does the FAV gets warm if you test it for 1 minute. If it doesn't, check the wire connection inside the plug.

I am using 50/50 Water/meth however i was thinking about changing it to 100% because i feel like the water is causing some problems
