Hi, i just got a HFS-3 kit installed on my 2013 sti. Whenever i go WOT sometimes i will get 1 bar and then it hits failsafe and the 2 yellow lights come on. Sometimes it will inject for a second or so then failsafe comes on. I've done the FDC jumper test and it works like it should showing all bars. When using the SYS jumper it sprays just fine and i forget how many bars it shows, i think it was like 3 or so. I've been reading all over the forums and can't seem to track down the issue. I've primed the system multiple times...any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

When you do the SYS jumper, make sure you see 5-6 bars. You cannot set up the failsafe you have not done this first.

Repost here after you have this.

Thanks for getting back to me, i'm guessing you mean the SYS jumper. Should i be getting 5-6 bars when spraying through the jet? And if so, if i'm not getting enough bars with the jet does this mean i need a larger jet size?

Also i will post results in a bit when i can test it.

Sorry it was is typo, I meant SYS.

You should get 5-6 bars near full power.

When i do the SYS jumper i only get 1 bar, with the jet. Could have swore it was 3-4 last time i did it...What do i need to fix this? Currently running .8mm jet with .5mm restrictor, should i be running a larger jet/restrictor?

car- 13 sti 4x560cc injectors, following the aquamist chart did 15% of 2240cc = 336cc

I believe it is flow/installation problem and can only be by checking the jet, air leak and lines.

If you are only running on jet, you should solder-link the system's flow table on page 21 of the user manual.

Let me know.

The user manual i saw said there should be 0, 1, 2. so for 1 jet solder 0 to 1...but this is the back of my board, only see a 1, 2, 3.

The wiring guide i used said i didn't need to solder, i was so hopeful when i saw your post and the manual, i need to be in map1 but then the back of my board wasn't the same :(.

The v3 has markings of 1, 2 & 3 compare to 0, 1 and 2. The manual may not been updated during the v2 to v3 transition.

The wiring guide normally over simplified to get you started. I believe some wiring guides do mention this solder link. For finer configurations you need to refer to the user manual.

Who do you purchase the system from?

I purchased this kit from rallysportdirect.com. So with v3 am i correct in assuming you don't need to solder for 1 jet? Just want to verify, or is the wiring the same on the board and i need to solder 1-2 together?

Yes, you do. Solder link 1 & 2 is essential if you are running one single jet.

I soldered the links and was getting 2 bars...today i put a larger restrictor in and i'm getting 6 bars (75%) when jumping SYS with 0.8mm nozzle in. Seems to be running solid now just need to tune, thanks alot for your help.
