Hello,
I am newbie in this forum. I am about to install Aquamist 1s into Subaru WRX.
I am using after market Engine Control Unit that can choose either to use original Subaru Intake Air Temperature embeded with Air Mass Sensor which is positioned in front of turbo OR its after market ECU's IAT placed on intake plenum. My question is which IAT sensor should be used for the sake of best result using WI :??? .

Thank you for any discussion inputs and ideas

On past aquired knowledge of Wi and MAF, it is not recommend to allow water injection to wet the MAF sensor.

If the IAT sensor is not the integral part of the MAF, it would be nice to put the IAT sensor in the path of WI and MAF away from the WI.

Ok, I changed the ECU setting to use Manifold Absolut Pressure instead of MAF, place WI 40 cm in front of throttle body and IAT sensor positioned on intake plenum by drilling it.
I noticed A/F ratio moved slightly richer so I leaned back to targeted A/F ratio and advancing ignition timing few degrees without any knock detected.

Thanks Richard..
