How much did a 50/50 mix effect knocklimit?

Hallo,

in the near future i want to tune a car with 50/50 W/M mix and need some advice how much degree in general are possible on a turbo car?

i know it depends much on engine design/intake temp etc. etc... but only to get an idea of how big he difference would be...

It depends a lot on the atomisation of the water and of course the quantity of water you inject.

As a generalised statement, you can move the detonation limit way off.
If you're mapping the car with detcans, you may find you could be adding silly amounts of advance with no knock, or running silly amounts of boost with the existing advance.

Take it gradually though, because other things could break in the process...
