Yes... that's the reason that I don't know english prices
Yes it is so. You may ask Richard L to make you a System 2S for a DIESEL car... he knows... but always on acceleration... We don't ratherly have detonations in the diesel engines we prepared... and we still use Aquamist 1S and 50/50 methanol... I don't remember where I posted it... but if you have a 0.9 bar of pressure should be useful to have a nozzle of 0.8 mm and you might won't have troubles... This way we prepared an Alfa GT 1.9 JTD and jumped to 207 HP from 150 HP, of cours also with electronics... veeeeeeeeeeeery goooooooood But the Italian Style is so... not all power but all you have immediatly. |

Thank you for that, i'll experiment when i've either got enough money for the Aquamist system :? or got a cheap enough pump for my own system  . Regulating the water flow from acceleration won't be hard, either a potentiometer on the throttle linkage or a pressure sensor and not boost switch would enable me to produce a flow rate proportional to demand.
I'm still trying to modify the spray nozzles I've got for the intercooler sprayer i'm building - so this'll have to join the queue. Plus I think it's now time to wind up the boost to about 1.3 Bar  Wish me luck  Thank you again Andy

Managed to get a Shurflo 100PSI of Fleabay USA - brand new and shipped for $101 (about ?57) now I call that cheap. Time to start building the DIY WI. Quick question though, one of the DIY sites on the 'Tinternet advocates the use of a water hammer to smooth out pressure fluctuations. Is this necessary and where can you get them from/what are they called over here in good old blighty?
Cheers in anticipation.

Water Hammer is just a type of Accumulator Tank or Anti-Surge Accumulator.
Aquamist do a 30cc one for about ?35, and a 100cc for about ?45 not sure how they work on Shurflo pumps although I suspect it's more to do with the overall throughput of the system so 30cc is probably fine. http://www.aquamist.co.uk/sl/plist/p...0/806-410.html Larger ones (~2 Litre) for marine use are about ?30 also. They're on hold at the moment, all my spare time is on getting the house ready for our Halloween party! Finishing those 'little' jobs like tiling the kitchen floor, plastering the bathroom walls and then getting all the props and scares sorted for our guests.
Soon as I get 5 minutes to myself i'll crack on with fitting the new turbo and plumbing up the WI. I'll keep you posted Andy
