Default Fitting HSV to other manf kits

Hi Guys,

I have a Devils own base kit and am looking to fit it with a Aquamist HSV.

Is the kit and pump compatible with the HSV?
Do i need any other Aquamist parts to make this work?

Or is it just a case of fitting the HSV instead of the Devils Own pressure sensor?

Cheers
Mark

You can plumb the HSV inline before the nozzle, but you'll need some way of driving it. You'll need either an Aquamist FIA2 (water/alcohol injection follows injector duty cycle) or an MF2 (set up your own 3D injection table) for it to work as its designed to.

In very basic terms, the HSV is just a N/C solenoid. When power is introduced to it, it opens. That being said, in reality it's a highly engineered solenoid that has the ability to open and close VERY rapidly, just like a fuel injector. Where the fuel injector uses the ECU to pulse and inject fuel, the HSV uses the FIA2 or MF2 to pulse and inject water/alcohol.

Clear as mud?
