Default Failsafe Kicking in

I'm having an issue with my HFS-3 where around 5500 rpm the failsafe is kicking in and disabling high boost as it should. I can't seem to figure out what the issue is. I have purged all the lines, cleaned the jets and FAV. It starts flow at 4000 rpm and gets 4 or 5 bars then cuts out at 5500 rpm.

The car is 01 S4 with high impedance Bosch EV14 injectors.

When I first installed the kit on my base tune I did not have any issue, held 4-5 bars of flow to redline. Went for a tune and we were not able to tune for the Aquamist as the failsafe started kicking in. The tuner has tuned 300-400 aquamist cars with no issue like this before. Tuner said he thought it could possibly be a bad FAV?

Only change before the tune was the switch from 100% distilled water to 50/50 water/methanol which came out of a sealed 5 gallon container.

Does the gauge showed a drop in delivery rate at 5000rpm?

No. Flow is consistent between 4000-5500rpm at 5-6 bars.

move WH a couple of clicks clockwise and let me know. 50:50 have a slightly different viscosity than 100% water.

When my tuner was doing the tune he tried setting WH fully clockwise and WL fully counter clockwise and we got the same results.

So changing from 100% water to 50/50 caused the failsafe to activate?

Where is the "FS-DL" set to? (controller)

Right before I went for a tune I filled the tank with 50/50. I never really went into boost on the way to the shop so I cannot say whether or not that was the case. However he was able to fine tune my base map with out any issue.

I read through this http://www.aquamist.co.uk/vbulletin/...ead.php?t=2091 thread and it seems like it could be a threshold issue?

When he started to turn up the boost and dial in the tune for the methanol thats when the failsafe started to kick in.

I tried adjusting the FS-DL fully clockwise last night with no change.

it does not make sense if none of the trimmers have any effect.

What is the "threshold" setting now?

No matter where I adjust the threshold it will just kick in later but continue to cut the boost around 5500 rpm.

I have:
WH fully clockwise
WL fully counterclockwise
FS-DL fully counter clockwise
