Default Intercooler change

I used to have WI installed with my top mount intercooler. Now I have a huge front mount and wondering what is the general effect of WI due to this change? Thoughts and tuning tips appreciated.

Default injection on front mount

My guess would be that the improved cooling of the front mount will allow you to use less water to reach the same detonation control. You will likely also be able to use a slightly later turn on point.

Due to the longer intlet pipe from the front mount to the throttle body you will also have more options to place the WI jet (or jets) back at an ideal location to get good water mist distribution / mixing in the intake charge and maximum evaporative cooling of the intake charge.
