Default best method of activation

hey guys, sorry for the noob question.

here is what I want to do, I have an Evolution 8, want to go with a UTEC piggyback and water injection.
Is there a best way to fire the WI? ie , what is the best way to run the wi, off the boost, rpm , what do you think? ( thinking aquamist)

these cars run rich, I don't know how they keep the plugs clean. after a day at the track(just fun) the car is peppered with soot.

thanks
Bruce

then your first worry should be how to lean out the fuel mixture.

run the water injection from load, and not rpm - the rpm can't tell you what the load is and how much fuel is going in the engine ...

thanks mx5
the evo dumps fuel to control knock. I'm hoping that with the piggyback and WI the car can get better AF and timing.
