Well methanol evapourates quicker than water, but only absorbs half the heat. Methanol is a fuel so you`ll have to re-tune if you inject it.

Staring point for most people is a 50/50 water/methanol mix and go from there, what I`ve read on here is water is better as an anti detonant, but if you need to inject larger quantities it will "bog" the engine down.

Personally I run 75%meth 25% water at around 1.2l/min port injected and post turbo, this is on the high side and it took a bit of tuning to get it right.

Best bet is to experiment and see how you get on.
