			Often with engine management, especially aftermarket EM, you can run multiple maps. On the EM I'm working with for instance there is a Launch Control Map that automatically defaults to the base map once the clutch is engaged. 
		
		
		
		
		
		
		
		
	
	Using DDS2 to detect a no flow situation, it can also be used to send a signal to cut to a no-water injection map. This is simliar to as I have described before, except the map defaulted to is no longer just to save the engine, rather just a de-tuning without WI.  |

			Disconnecting the power feed to a bopost dump valve is also a good way to lower boost withthe DDS2.
