Default Voltag to open HSV, Pulse width for HSV, HSV longevity.

Curious if anyone knows the minimuim voltage needed to open the Aquamist high speed valve? I'm looking to hook up to a stand alone ECU.

Is there a preferred pulse width? A minimum pulse width for the HSV?

Have there been any studies on the longevity during continuous operation of the HSV?

The HSV's minimum voltage is 9V, works well between 10-14.5V. It can work up to 27V with a "Peak and hold" driver, the cycling frquency is extended to nearly 500Hz.

At 13.6V, the minimum pulse width to open it is 1.8ms. The average lifespan of the valve is 20million operations, some reported to have work beyond 30million operations.

Life span is directly proportional to the operating frequency. The recommended freqency is between 30Hz-80Hz. Fuel injector pulses beyond 80Hz but at low engine speed, it only pulsed at 30Hz. If you go for a fixed frequency drive, 50Hz is a good frequency to aim for.
